Alaya Khatkhate serves as Vantage’s Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and brings over 14 years of experience in the investment management and wealth management industries. In her role as CCO, Alaya is responsible for the oversight and management of Vantage’s compliance program and related regulatory matters.
Alaya brings a decade of experience in assessing, creating, implementing and monitoring compliance functions for registered firms. Prior to joining Vantage, Alaya served as a compliance lead at multi-family office specialized in portfolio solutions for high-net-worth Canadian families. Prior to joining the family office, Alaya was a key member of the compliance team at BNY Mellon Wealth Management (Canada), a bank-owned investment advisory firm specializing in investment solutions for families, pensions, endowments and other institutional investors. At BNY, Alaya worked to develop and implement procedures to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the division’s compliance program throughout the organization.
Alaya earned a Master of Business Administration from the Sobey School of Business at St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University.
